As a member of the consultation board, Self Energy was invited as a key participant at ESCO Europe 2008, a leading summit focused on the European Energy Services industry. The event held on the 4th and 5th of November in Brussels left participants with a sense of opportunity to further the energy efficiency measures in the built environment and continue the movement towards decentralised energy.

Eoin Lees, Chairman of Self Energy UK, chaired the Think Tank focused on policy and regulation. Considerable debate resulted in general consensus that ESCOs such as Self Energy are vital in overcoming the considerable market barriers to energy efficiency and decentralised energy implementation, particularly in this period of credit scarcity.
